Ronald F. Konopka, D.D.S.
Dr. Ronald Konopka graduated from the University of Michigan in 1970, and then attended the University of Detroit Dental School graduating in the top 10 percent of his class in 1973. He has always felt that lifelong learning is the basis for continued success. He earned a certificate in Esthetic and Cosmetics from Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry in 1994 and continues to take continuing education classes in this field. He has completed the curriculum offered by the Dawson Institute in Occlusion and Reconstructive Dentistry focusing on treating the entire masticatory system. He has completed a comprehensive post graduate program in orthodontics from the United States Dental Institute, and is a certified Invisalign Provider. He continues to attend courses in both conventional and Invisalign orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Konopka is a Life Time Member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Macomb County Dental Society, and Charter member of the Parkway Dental Study Club.
In an effort to pass this knowledge on Dr. Konopka mentors young dentists on a regular basis providing learning sessions monthly to help improve their clinical skills. He has also made numerous presentations at the Parkway Dental Study Club.
Meeting his wife while in dental school, he and Karen have been married since 1979. He has multiple interests, enjoying photography, windsurfing, boating on the Great Lakes, and both playing and building guitars, some of which hang in the office. He always enjoys a song or two played by a patient.
